ModeAudio – Post-Rock (ALP)

The post-rock genre combines the core components of traditional rock – two guitars, bass and drums – with a more experimental approach to song structure and sound design, as well as an emphasis on instrumentals over vocals. Borrowing from a wide range of genres including ambient, electronica, krautrock, dub and even jazz, post-rock has gained mainstream popularity thanks to bands like Mogwai, Sigur Rós and Slint.

At the core of this pack are multi-sampled guitars and drums that reflect the genre’s distinct and varied characteristics – from sharp, percussive sounds ideal for creating rhythmic patterns, to rough and unpredictable distorted tones that add grain and depth to any track. Each multi-sampled instrument comes with circular variations, perfect for creating organic-sounding repeats.

Also included is a large collection of customizable synth presets, texture loops and field recordings, dozens of drum, guitar and bass loops, a wide range of audio effects racks and a set of modeled guitars.
