Hoard Picked Acoustic is a versatile and flexible legato guitar library designed for Kontakt.

As with the Hoard Mandolin library , our goal was to create an instrument that could easily play a wide range of guitar melodies without the need to switch keys.

The Master Legato core patch is a versatile workhorse that includes several legato articulations: natural legato, plucked slide (with CC speed control), hammer-on/pull-off, and no-pluck slide, all easily toggled via the speed control. We’ve also added a signature palm-muted legato patch that has its own unique flavor.

Equally important is the Performance Sustains patch, which features five speed levels, including two softest for palm-muted and light palm-muted playing, greatly expanding the range of phrase-creation possibilities.

To enhance the authenticity of your guitar tracks, we’ve included a large yet subtle patch of fret noises, as well as timbre, breath and movement inserts – all designed to add character, warmth and humanity to your compositions.

For added versatility, we’ve thoughtfully included several updated and duplicate versions of patches to suit your double-tracking needs.
