Midnight: Tenor Sax is an attitude-heavy legato tenor sax library built for bold, expressive writing. The idea? A no-holds-barred instrument with all the bells and whistles – delivered in a single, playable patch.
We expanded on the programming techniques from our acclaimed Austin Saxes library, adding multiple mic positions (close, far), an even fuller-bodied performance, and a deeper integration of critical articulations.
These include round robin sustains, slurred and tongued legato, glissando legato, short/long scooped attacks, selectable glissando attacks, short/long bend-down releases, and gliss-fall releases – each intuitively triggered by velocity or latch keys.
If you’re after a fun, versatile tenor sax that oozes swagger – yeah, this is the one.

It is not working
It works. The wind instrument is designed to be controlled by a wind controller. You can do the same thing with the Modulation wheel. Mod wheel controls the air to the instruement. Move the mode wheel to control the sound dynamics. If you don’t care to control the dynamics, just have it pushed up all the way.
The default for the instrument mod-wheel is “0”. Set modwheel to < 0 in order to hear audio from the lib.
