Each algorithm was handcrafted and meticulously tuned in our state-of-the-art listening systems. They utilize up to 12 dual-node modulators to enhance the richness and realism of reverb tails, as well as our own 4- and 8-channel density filters for optimal smoothness and expressiveness. Other reverbs click and crackle when adjusting their virtual “size” or “depth,” but even then, they typically lack flexibility. This is where Supernova’s new Depth feature comes in.

This depth control feature, made possible by True Dimension 4D, works differently. Move sounds around in virtual space to create even more detailed mixes than ever before. You’ll hear the sound move within the reverb as you adjust the depth. Use more depth to create a more spacious sound, or reduce the depth to make the reverb denser and more focused.

You choose the location in the room or the atmosphere with absolute precision – like never before.

Supernova features powerful routing controls that open up new sonic possibilities for your mix. Route the delay output to the reverb output with a single click. Or route the reverb output to the delay input to add depth to your delays.

Or run them in parallel and use the reverb and delay mix slider to fine-tune the delay or reverb in the signal.

Advanced Ducking

Supernova’s Ducking feature offers even more powerful tools for achieving perfect image clarity.

When ‘diving’, the ‘wet’ signal does not interfere with the ‘dry’ signal, helping to maintain presence, intelligibility and clarity when using large, dense spaces.

Now, with the new Ducking Shape feature, you have complete control over the reaction speed and timing of the Ducking algorithm. Increase the speed for a highly dynamic animation—ideal when clarity is required. Or decrease the speed for a smoother, more natural animation—when you need clarity without sacrificing naturalness.
