The Evolution Vintage Gent electric guitar presents an exquisite electric guitar with a hollow body from the mid-60s. British Invasion, was originally created a decade earlier in collaboration with Gretsch and legendary guitarist, sound producer, and pioneer of the Nashville sound, Chet Atkins.

This guitar represents the golden age of rock ‘n’ roll, country, and rockabilly. This was the time when guitarists were starting to turn up the volume, and it was necessary to take steps to reduce the feedback while maintaining the extra volume that a hollow design provides compared to a solid body. So you can get any sound, from the ringing tone of a bridge pickup to the meat tone of a neck pickup and all shades in between. Guy Randle, the owner and engineer of this company, used analog sound equipment to artfully convey and emphasize the rich timbral qualities of the instrument.
