Past to Future Reverbs – JJ Motown Bass

If you are looking for a good vintage bass with a characteristic growling attack, James Jamerson Motown Bass offers you a great option. This bass library has 10 circular repeats on each semitone and velocity layers.

We used a Vintage 1965 Fender Precision Bass, with a sponge under the bridge and flatwound strings, and played with just the index finger, just like James Jamerson did!

The amount of circular repeats and ease of use of the controller give this instrument a natural sounding electric bass with a vintage Motown feel.

Equipment used: Acme Motown DI and Studer A80 tape recorder.

Features
