AI-Based Stem Separation

Integration with Splice

PreSonus has partnered with Splice, the industry-leading catalog of royalty-free sounds and production tools, to provide the company with its first-ever DAW experience. Using the Search by Sound feature, creators can add audio or highlight specific sections of a track and instantly find compatible sounds from Splice that sync with the key and tempo of the project. While existing Splice users will enjoy this powerful integration, newcomers to Splice will have access to thousands of hand-selected Splice samples made free to Studio One Pro 7 users, whether they subscribe to Splice or not.

Impact integration with the Note Editor

The new built-in editor, optimized for pattern creation and sound editing, provides access to all instrument keys, pads and sample editor controls. Conveniently create patterns, adjust parameters and edit samples or loops without having to open a new window.

Interactive Timeline and Cycle Tools

All scale-related functions are now in one place, allowing users to edit the scale faster and easier, whether they are working with preset scales or creating their own. Additionally, the Loop tool is now available as an alternative to duplicating events, which is a huge time-saver for intuitive organization and production. The Event Loop feature is the fastest way to fill a section or even an entire track with looped copies.

Global transposition

Change the key of an entire song with just one click and transfer audio and notes in real time. This new feature updates the song’s key, chords, and notes simultaneously.

Extended definition of tempo

To determine the original tempo of a recording, an essential step in music creation, Studio One Pro 7 now supports tempo detection for audio events of any duration, as well as the ability to extract the original tempo map into a tempo track.

Users of vintage or modern analog synthesizers can now control their instruments directly from Studio One Pro 7.
