Ultra-realistic sounding virtual acoustic guitar – The real sound of the Gibson® 1963 Hummingbird.
Hummingbird lets you compose powerful and natural acoustic guitar tracks that simulate real playing.
Incredible real-time playability – Hummingbird SPI (Super Performance Instrument)
With Hummingbird SPI you can play an ultra-realistic sounding virtual acoustic guitar in real time. You can instantly access various playing techniques without stopping the game and create convincing guitar tracks very quickly.
Single note, emulated two-string diad chords (dyads) (minor 2nd, 2nd, minor 3rd, major 3rd, 4th, flat 5th, 5th, #5th, 6th, 7th, maj7th, octave), sampled real chords (octave, major, minor, 7th, m7, maj7, add9, sus4, 9th, m7(9), maj7(9), dim7, aug, open / low chords, etc.), emulated chords (major, minor, 7th, m7, maj7, add9, sus4, 7sus4, 9th, #9, m7(9), maj7(9), dim, dim7,m7-5, aug, open / low chords, etc.), user chords (you can create any chords with User Chord Editor .), Real-time Hammer-on and Pull-off, Real-time Legato slide, Vibrato, Trill, Tremolo picking, Mute and picking sound, Gliss down, Natural harmonics, Strikes, Fret noise, Picking stop noise, Bridge mute noise, Release noise, Position change noise, Special effects, etc.
Fretboard Monitoring
SPI automatically selects the correct string/fret position depending on the situation. You can also change the string manually using the key switches. The fretboard monitor visualizes the current fret position/picking technique you are playing.
Intelligent Instrument Key Switch with Chord Recognition
You can instantly select an instrument (articulation) using the instrument select key switches. All instruments can be assigned to any key switches, and you can create your own key switch scheme. The key switches have a chord recognition function that allows you to select a chord instrument not only by pressing the key to which the chord is assigned, but also by pressing the notes of the chord within the range of the key switch. In other words, you don’t have to memorize the key switches for the chord instruments. Just hold the notes of the chord within the range of the key switch, and you’re ready to play the chord.
A large number of guitar sample hits
Hummingbird includes more percussion samples (strikes, taps, hits on different parts of the guitar body) that allow you to play and create percussion and rhythmic guitar tracks.
Customizable Strum Key
In addition to the custom chord editor, you can customize how each string plays when you press the Strum and regular keys.
*This is not a so-called “arpeggiator”. It is a function that allows you to play a specific note (string) of a chord individually.
True Stereo Recording
The samples were recorded using three microphones; a pair of small diaphragm microphones for stereo recording and one large diaphragm microphone for monophonic recording. The Double-Tracking tool is available as a stereo option on the large diaphragm microphone.
Sampled Real Chords
Extensive sampling of “real” chords will make your guitar tracks very convincing. (octave, major, minor, 7th, m7, maj7, add9, sus4, 9th, m7(9), maj7(9), dim7, aug, open / low chords, etc.). Hummingbird includes a huge number of “real” recorded chords (in other words, “pre-recorded” or “pre-played”). You can instantly access different types of guitar chords. Prominy guitar libraries are the only ones that include such a huge number of real chord samples.
Real Chord Emulation
Although Hummingbird already includes a huge number of real chord samples, more chords (and more chord shape options for each chord) are available with emulated chords. Our unique recording/programming allows you to get realistic chord sounds that are close to the sound of real chord samples, even when you play simulated chords.
minor 2nd-dyad , maj2nd-dyad, minor 3rd-dyad, major 3rd-dyad, 4th-dyad, flat 5th-dyad, 5th-dyad, #5th-dyad, 6th-dyad, 7th-dyad, maj7th-dyad, octave -dyad, major, minor, 7th, m7, maj7, add9, sus4, 7sus4, 9th, #9, m7(9), maj7(9), dim, dim7, m7(b5), aug, open / low chords, etc.
Custom Chord
Custom Chord Editor allows you to create your own chord shapes and create any chords you like. Each string is fully customizable, and you can customize how the string plays using the custom chord editor. (For example, normal sustain, mute or pick tone, always play an open string regardless of fret position, strum, root string, etc.
Arpeggio Key
The arpeggio key is a dedicated key for each string. When a chord instrument is selected, each note chord is automatically assigned to the arpeggio key for the string, so you can play arpeggios using the keys.
Double-Tracking
In addition to stereo-recorded samples that produce natural stereo sound, Double-Tracking instruments are available as another option for achieving a “Double-” stereo sound. Tracking” is a technique that is often used when recording guitar tracks. It gives a guitar track a nice wide spread stereo sound and “thickness”. identical samples. You don’t need stereo delay or MIDI data settings to simulate dual tracking.
Legato Slide / Hammer-on and Pull-off in real time
With Hummingbird’s “Realtime Legato Slide” feature, which uses legato samples, you can get a completely real legato slide performance of a human finger that cannot be reproduced using slide emulation by changing the pitch. The Hammer-on and Pull-off samples are also actual recorded samples. Legato Slide is available for all real-time instruments, including chord instruments, except FX and Percussion instruments. Real-time Hammer-on & Pull-off is available for single note instruments.
Automatic Battle Detection
With SPI’s automatic battle detection function, SPI automatically detects the current position of the battle and determines the correct direction (down or up). There are several battle detection modes, and you can also control the direction manually.
