SampleRoll DRFT is a unique VHS/CRT multi-effect that combines audio and video processing. The plugin emulates the distortions of old magnetic tape and CRT televisions (wow and flutter, overload, noise), allowing you to completely degrade audio and generate synchronized video directly within the interface.

SampleRoll DRFT blurs the line between sound design and video art. You can feed it any video, GIF, or live webcam feed—and it will distort along with the audio.

Features

• Synchronous Distortion (6 parameters): Control BURN, DRIFT, BEND, DROPOUT, WASH, and NOISE. Any change is instantly and synchronously reflected in the audio and video.
• Video with sound: Upload your own MP4/GIF files. If you don’t have your own footage, use 23 built-in generators (plasma, tunnels, fractals, etc.) that pulse to the beat of your audio.
• Picture controls sound (FEED): The plugin can analyze the brightness and dynamics of a video frame, modulating the mix in real time. Flashes in the video brighten the sound, while dark frames muffle it.
• CIRCUIT and PAINT modes: Transform your waveform into the physical distortions of a CRT monitor, or use an interactive canvas that remembers transients and leaves visual trails from your notes.
• One-click MP4 export: Click REC and save your finished audiovisual clip in 16:9, ultrawide, or 9:16 (for Reels/Shorts) formats directly from the plugin, without using third-party video editors.
