Upright EBX – Double bass, bass violin, cello or, in our case, vertical bass. Despite the fact that it has many names, it is one of those instruments that can be recognized by the strike of a note. Slightly muted, yet still vibrantly resonant, the earthy and dark tone of vertical bass has permeated all layers of our musical history, from its first version a few hundred years ago to the present day. It is the embodiment of the ideal instrument for use in any jazz, rock, pop or general acoustic music composition.
