Sugar & Spice features over 260 sounds inspired by stage keyboards and polyphonic synthesizers from the 80s and 90s. While the presets are focused on ease of use, more radical transformations are immediately available using Hive’s XY pads (over 100 examples can be found in the additional XY Showcase folders). Experienced keyboardists will appreciate the nuances of velocity sensitivity and aftertouch. As
the name suggests, this sound pack consists of two parts: Sugar by Michael Cavallo and Spice by Howard Scarr himself. The combination of different approaches to sound design almost guarantees variety, and this sound pack continues the tradition established by Hive Science and Metaphorium.
