Cassette tapes convey unique sound from often low-quality recording media. A cassette tape has a unique character like nothing else, and I’m in love with it. It’s not a tape recorder, it’s a time machine.

Rewinding Back in Time

An entire generation listened to the music that shaped their lives on cassette tapes. I grew up listening to it at home, in the car, or on my Walkman.

• They’re not perfect, in fact, they’re far from perfect.
• That’s what I like about them.

This is my tribute to the sound that shaped my childhood. I discovered my passion for music through the juxtaposition of whims and random fluctuations.
Watching the meters tick, I sang into an old microphone. Red peaks and the richness of analog sound.
