SILENCER is the first plugin of its kind that simultaneously cleans up and enhances the reverb plugins you already own.

Thanks to TIMEGATE, a patented process that completely cancels the reverb signal on each note, eliminating reverb “washout” that blurs multiple notes and ruins the impact of melodies, vocals, drums, chords, and arpeggios. Imagine a sustain pedal for your reverbs, but triggered automatically by audio, MIDI, or automation.

Give every note its own individual, discrete reverb. Say goodbye to reverb washouts, muddiness, and low-frequency phase issues. Say hello to harmonic clarity and transient delay. Ducking reverb is no longer “good enough” in modern productions.

We’ve also developed several unique effects specifically designed for reverb, or you can add your own VSTs to affect only the reverb signal and then save the entire setup as a preset. Silencer can act as a reverb manager for organizing your favorite reverb sounds, no matter which plugin you use.

Timegate

The Timegate module takes your favorite VST reverbs and re-triggers them for every audio transient or MIDI note, whether you’re using a mid-range plate or an epic 10-second shimmering verb.

You can also trigger the reverb using audio transients from the sidechain signal , or manually execute/automate it using the TRIGGER button.

Weight and Air

Maximum Sound. Add massive weight and beautiful air with the legendary BBE Sonic Maximizer algorithm, making your reverbs sound epic. You’ll find it hard to believe the before and after.

No ordinary gate

, Silencer’s Gate uses a dry signal for detection, giving your reverb a truly punchy sound. This new effect sounds especially good on drums.

Wet Dry Spread

Spreads the dry and wet signals in opposite directions, creating a magical 3D effect used in radio hits to highlight the center of your mix and add dimension.

Focus EQ

Focus EQ allows you to boost the critical frequencies of an instrument by suppressing reverb and, if necessary, boosting the dry signal at the same important frequency.

Sidechain

For added credibility, we’ve enabled the ducker. The sidechain will compress the reverb based on the dry signal. The Release knob actually modifies more than the release and is set to give you a wide range of rhythm and groove.
