Big Man Labs – Big Notes v1.0.3 for WiN

Big Man Labs Big Notes is a convenient studio utility for saving notes and photos directly within your DAW project. The plugin allows you to instantly record knob and fader positions on hardware devices, guitar pedalboard settings, synthesizer patches, and microphone placement, saving all data directly to the session on the desired track.

Features

Instant transfer from a smartphone

Each copy of the plugin generates a unique QR code – scan it with your phone, take a photo of the compressor settings or mic position, and the photo will immediately appear in the plugin without wires and file transfers

4 photo slots per instance

Record the front panel, rear connectivity, mic position and general arrangement in the room with independent zoom, pan and rotate for each photo

Text session notes

Record gain staging parameters, signal chain details and any comments with real-time sync between the plugin and your smartphone

Individual linking to channels

Assign a separate copy of the plugin to each track (vocals, drums, guitars) so that months later you can open the project and accurately restore the setup

Light and dark themes

switch between modes to match the style of your DAW and the lighting in the studio (the download interface on the phone automatically adjusts to the selected theme)
