Why it’s different: PCCN™?

Most “analog” plugins simulate sound: a fixed saturation curve, a snapshot of a pulse-code response, or a neural “black box.” The Legend Channel works differently. Our PCCN™ engine is built on real circuitry: real transformers, transistors, and variable-gain amplifiers from original circuits, modeled with the physical properties of the devices. It responds to your signal just like the hardware, at any gain setting and level.

Traditional digital signal processors model the output: a fixed curve or a snapshot of how the transmission performed at a single setting. PCCN models the cause. It’s built on real circuits and device equations: the transformer’s magnetic hysteresis is calculated in real time, and the amplifiers and VCA stages are an exact solution for real NE5534/transistor circuits. This is a true circuit model, not a tanh curve, IR snapshot, or neural network capture, so it responds to signal levels and controls just like the hardware, at any setting.
