This digital powerhouse has been reborn as a VST or AudioUnit plugin, making its iconic sound accessible to everyone. Wolfgang Palm himself was extensively consulted during the development to ensure that PPG Wave 3.V lives up to the legacy of this German engineering marvel, preserving the immersive audio character of the ’80s.

    • Supports up to 256 voices per instance, depending on available processing power.
    • Offers 8-part multimode capabilities.
    • Provides 8 stereo outputs.
    • Allows host automation for most parameters.
    • MIDI controllers can automate most parameters.
    • Includes over 100 new wavetables created by Wolfgang Palm.
    • Features the original Waveterm B Factory sample library.
    • Comes with the classic factory PPG Wave sounds.

    • Equipped with 2 wave oscillators.
    • Capable of playing samples at 8-bit, 12-bit, or up to 32-bit.
    • Offers authentic PPG Wave 2.2/2.3/2.V aliasing emulation or without aliasing.
    • Includes a low pass filter (12 dB / 24 dB) with authentic PPG Wave 2.2/2.3 filter emulation.
    • Features overdrive behind the filter.
    • Provides 1 low-frequency generator.
    • Includes 3 envelopes.
    • Offers authentic modulation grain emulation (switchable via True PPG).
  • Per Part (up to 8 parts available):

    • Supports Poly, Dual, Quad, and Mono modes (8 voices) with 8 different semitone offsets for creating chords or melodic lines.
    • Includes an arpeggiator with Up, Down, Alternate, and Cascade modes (special PPG).
    • True PPG mode with the ability to switch between PPG Wave 2.2, Wave 2.3, and Wave 2.V.
