This plugin models British-made preamps, compressors, equalizers, and transmitters. It models a variety of real-world devices, including vintage, modern, and modified ones, and can be used in conjunction with them.

The N Channel model is more than just an imitation of the original preamp, compressor and equalizer.

It allows you to simulate the sonic qualities and tones used in large recording studios, including sounds passing through British consoles, cables, patch boxes, and even analog-to-digital converters, which can impart a strong analog texture to the sound.

Preamp Section

Modeling vintage 70’s gear based on recently released units.

The compressor section

is a feedback compressor modeled after two vintage British units from the 1970s. The total harmonic distortion, frequency response, and other parameters are adjusted organically and automatically based on the input signal and compression ratio.

The Equalizer Section

simulates three equalizers, including vintage models from the 70s and recent releases. Not only is each equalizer’s frequency response modeled, but also distortion and texture.

Analog Flavoring

Switches between sounds that simulate transformers and analog circuits. In addition to frequency response, it also simulates compression and texture.
