“Skew” is a non-linear audio reverser. Perfectly synchronized with the host, it continuously buffers incoming audio – and plays it back in chunks.
The main trick of this algorithm is that it is able to change the playback speed by selecting non-linear curves, thereby changing the pitch in various ways.
With an extremely wide range of control for each parameter, “Skew” can be used to create a variety of rhythmically accurate effects such as reverse, tape rewind, pitch slide, detune, glitch and scratch.
