Overview of the Sandy Creek Organ:

Captures the sighs of life of this well-worn vintage Thomas Monticello organ. This precious artifact, bequeathed to us by a friendly neighbor, had its own story. It appears that during its downtime between services as a musical instrument, this particular organ was also home to countless small critters that left their mark throughout the interior.

It sat there in our old studio in Sand Creek until we finally decided to reveal some of its musical secrets. To capture the full character of this vintage treasure, we recorded the microphone in two positions: close and in the room. The Sandy Creek Organ includes six different sustain types (two of which feature a Leslie rotary speaker), each with looping and releases, as well as a variety of sound effects.

As always, we’ve included a selection of carefully crafted environments and creative effect presets to help jump-start your creativity. The real Thomas Monticello we recorded may have reached its final stop, but it will live on forever as our Sandy Creek organ.
